Two images of the second part of tomorrow's Gospel. The first is a twelfth-century mosaic from the cathedral of Monreale, Sicily.(Notice that there are only ten apostles in the boat. Did the artist, like some modern scholars, think this is a post-resurrection event?)The second is by the Catalan painter Lluis Borrassa (ca. 1360-1425).
