Anna Harrison is a professor in the theology department at Loyola Marymount University. Her forthcoming book is Thousands and Thousands of Lovers: The Sense of Community Among the Nuns of Helfta (Cistercian Publications, spring 2022), and she is currently at work on a book on paradox in the thought of the twelfth-century monk Bernard of Clairvaux.
