James Bernard Murphy teaches political philosophy and political theology at Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire. He has recently completed two book manuscripts, "A Genealogy of Violence: Rene Girard in Dialogue" and "Why Grow Up? Childhood, Adulthood, and Humanhood."
