The Borowitz Report used to be a chuckle in the e-mail. Now its creator has gone big at the New Yorker. Thought I'd share his latest: "U.S. Promises Smooth Transfer to Quagmire from Afghanistan to Syria."  Chuckle! Chuckle!

The fact-checkers at the New Yorker, famous though they may be, obviously missed a quote attribution. The head of the Joint Chiefs, General Martin Dempsey, is quoted saying something that was no doubt uttered by Secretary of State John Kerry. Chuckle! Chuckle!
